What a beautiful place, spotless and clean, easy access to the premises, location was just gorgeous waking up to the sound of the ocean and water was relaxing. Jibbon beach was close by, beautiful walk around the national park... walkway on Jibbon beach was beautiful. I would definitely love to return one day for another stay. Would highly recommend this place, the view is just stunning.

Things to note

  • The Big House, The Bunkie and George are also situated on the property that are not part of this listing. Each accommodation has its own distinct areas, with only the Neil Street entrance shared.

  • If you have pets that need their own holiday, while we cannot accommodate them, we recommend Hanrob Pet Hotel in Heathcote which is only a short diversion on your way to Ethel & Ode's.

  • Please note this listing includes cleaning and linen to be commercially laundered. Fake tan and makeup stains on towels that require soaking/treatment will incur additional cleaning fees.

  • Our bathrooms run on pumps and connect to a septic system. Only toilet paper and what nature provides should be disposed of in our toilets. Disposal of anything else such as sanitary products, makeup or baby wipes may cause blockage which will impact your stay and necessitate expensive repairs for which guests will be charged.

  • We recommend you utilise the screen door at night to prevent insects attracted by the lights.

  • Our team visit the property once a week to maintain the gardens. They will ensure their impact is minimal and respect your privacy at all times.

Full house rules are set out in the property information folder, however a few quick notes for your guide follow here;

  • Please respect our neighbours right to quiet enjoyment and keep noise to a minimum after 9pm.

  • Smoking is not permitted on this property at all – this includes fogo, deck and the gardens.

  • Parking is on street only. Please do not park in the driveways. Please do not park on the median strips or in our neighbours’ driveways.

  • Please remove shoes when in the house, and use the outdoor shower or hose to remove sand before entering the house.

  • Access to the beach is via the path at the end of the road. Please note that the rocks on the waterfront side of the property can be dangerous and are particularly not suitable for young children or the elderly.

  • There is a first aid kit located in the wardrobe (in a white box).

  • A fire blanket and fire extinguisher are located in the kitchen under the sink.

  • Please refrain from consuming food & drink in the bed.

  • Should bushfire threaten the area, please note the location of the designated assembly point for Bundeena at Horden’s Beach Reserve which has been identified as a ‘Neighbourhood Safer Place’ by the NSW Rural Fire Service. You can monitor bushfires via the NSW Rural Fire Service (www.rfs.nsw.gov.au).

  • We are surrounded by the National Park and as such you may encounter wildlife - for your safety and theirs, please leave them alone

    CHECKLIST FOR CHECKOUT

  • Check out is 11am. Late check out is available by request only and subject to availability.

  • Remove all rubbish from the house and place in the council collection bins located at the front of the property. Red top bins are for general waste and yellow for recycling. Our kitchen bin liners are compostible and the composite bin is at the east side front of the property near the Tesla charger. Piease note; no animal products including eggs can be put in the compost bin.

  • Please wash all kitchen items and return them to their original location. Cleaning products can be found under the sink.

  • Please leave all (particularly wet) towels hung up in the bathroom (not on the beds). Linen may be left on the bed. Please note this listing includes end of stay cleaning and linen to be commercially laundered. Fake tan and makeup stains on towels that require soaking/treatment will incur additional cleaning fees.

  • Please return all furniture and any household items to their original location.

  • Upon your departure please make sure all windows and doors are locked and the keys returned to their respective lockboxes. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of your security deposit.

    PROPERTY INFORMATION FOLDER INFORMATION

  • Breakages are part of life and we understand that accidents happen. We ask that you care for the property as you would expect someone to care for your own. Please report any breakages as soon as possible and prior to checkout. We reserve the right to charge for any breakages that occur during your stay and will do so at our discretion.

  • Check in is 2pm, unless otherwise agreed by prior arrangement. Check out is 11am, unless otherwise agreed by prior arrangement.

  • Cleaning supplies are provided for you under the sink in the kitchen. We appreciate you maintaining the level of cleanliness during your stay that you find on arrival, and ask that all items used are cleaned and put away prior to your departure. The departure cleaning tariff is included in your booking. Should the property require more than four hours cleaning, you will be charged an additional $30 per hour or part thereof and this will be deducted from your deposit.

  • Fishing can often be seen taking place on the rocks nearby. Rock fishing is known to be dangerous and we caution that you do so at your own risk. Please do not clean fish on or near the property.

  • Kitchen utensils, plates, glasses etc are provided for your use. Please let us know if there are any breakages so that we can organise replacements. Kindly leave the kitchen as you found it, with all dishes washed and returned to where you found them.

  • We recommend you take care to cover food appropriately and keep the kitchen free from crumbs and the remnants of food preparation to deter insects etc

  • Pets are unable to be accommodated. We appreciate your understanding.

  • Rubbish bins are located in front of the shed. Please ensure all rubbish is removed from the house and placed in these bins prior to your departure. If your stay includes a Monday – please place the bins out for collection on Monday evening, and bring them in on Tuesday. Red lid bins are for general rubbish, yellow lid for recycling. Any excess waste must be taken with you - excess rubbish removal required after you stay will be charged at $30 per incident.

  • Security cameras are located around the outside of this property only covering the access points into the house for the security of guests and the host. They are not actively monitored however may be referred to in the event of a security issue or damage to the property.

  • Smoking is not permitted on the property – this includes fogo, decks and the gardens.

  • Towels for bathing and the beach are provided. Please ensure bath towels are used inside the house only and not taken to the beach under any circumstances.

  • Visitors (as opposed to the booked number of guests) are limited to 2 at any one time (unless agreed prior) and should not stay on the property overnight. As part of the booking terms that you have accepted, you will take full responsibility for the actions of any guest or person you allow onto the property during the rental including the cost of any damages or loss.
